Day 1 (officially)

So...Day 1 is officially completed. I have successfully refrained from McDonald's...I instead ate at Bojangles and rewarded myself with ice cream at Dairy Queen! Feeling good!--or not. I blame it on my brother. My sweet, innocent, brother convinced me that we should make it a goal to spend EVERY last dime that I have on food. And what do I do? Well I accept the challenge of course! Who in their right mind wouldn't? So let's see here, being healthy is not starting out on a good note. There is always a Day 2, right? (: Procrastination--we all suffer. But let's all forget about that for now.
I began working on my "studio" today! SO exciting! So far I have all that was in the "little room", as we call it, removed. It is now a shell of a space. It looks an awful lot like an empty canvas to me. It is sitting there just waiting to be changed into something wonderful. I am trying to decide on a paint scheme>=/ The space has one small window, an awkward closet, and old carpet. It is going to take magic to turn it into a perfect space. But I am bound and determined to do it.
Lets see what else my fun day consisted of---a BREAD MAKER! Yes! We got a bread maker today! Whoo! I will have to report on how well bread making goes. Could be a complete disaster, but I am sure that my mom and I will have a blast learning how to use it. Oh, meet my mom:
Mom!!!
Best woman in the world, by the way. Together we have tackled couponing(I only help cut them from the Sunday papers every now and then, but I like to pretend!), making homemade/natural solutions to everyday products that hurt us in the long run, planting flowers, planning my wedding since I was 3, and finding some way to be different. I am not a cookie cutter!
So mom-meet reader, reader-meet mom. Introductions and what-nots.
Okay, now leaving the bread making-machine-doo-hickey-thing behind and moving on to 3:00. Who doesn't love volleyball? I LoVE it! I was able to play on my school's team for an amazing 5 years, but then something awful happened, I graduated. So, of course, like any logical person would do, I found a way to be on the team again! Why yes, I am the assistant coach! Go Knights! Currently we are in the middle of the season, and have lost our fair share of games. But these girls are amazing. They know what sport they are playing and they love it. They have honestly been such an encouragement to me. (And been a big part of my MOTIVATION!) So today's game was loud, obnoxious, and somewhat irritating. But it was close. (We lost)=,(  After the game was when we decided to eat Bojangles's out of food.
This was Day 1 of what I am not so sure I am trying to accomplish yet. How about setting a few goals:
1- Eat healthy, but yummy food.

2-Finish my messy studio and get to work!

3-Somehow make it through college.

P.S. I have no idea how I have managed to not talk about my sweet, cute, kind boyfriend yet! Boyfriend doesn't describe what he is to me at all though:( I need a new word for it. He is my best friend, I am his partner in crime. We love each other more than Noah and Allie, Johnny and June, or Cinderella and Prince Charming.

P.S.S.S.S-These pictures were robbed from google. Who doesn't do it?
